The Wiggle Room is the Bootleg Baby of this city’s Bawdy family tree. Born out of a desire to bring a traditional Vaudeville spirit back to the street that was once known as Montreal’s “hardened artery,” The Wiggle Room is committed to providing high quality live shows.
The Wiggle Room is Montreal’s new home for burlesque, comedy, live music, Improv, performance workshops and of course, cocktails! Stay tuned for event information and all the exciting news. And remember, “A Little Wiggle Goes a Long Way!”
Frenchy Jones
Frenchy Jones' burgeoning career began unexpectedly in 2008 after she accidentally fell head first into a barrel of glitter. Since then, she's been wiggling her way into the hearts and pants of Montreal burlesque aficionados. Improvisation, joie de vivre, quirkiness and sometimes just plain silliness are all characteristics of Miss Jones' performances. She brings that same joie de vivre to her position as Cabaret Owner - clients never leave The Wiggle Room without a smile on their face thanks to Frenchy Jones!
Zyra
Zyra is our entertainment booker. She is a multi award winning and international burlesque entertainer who has extensive experience headlining at several festivals and showcases Worldwide. In 2023 she was invited to compete for Miss Exotic World/Queen of Burlesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame. Zyra was also voted “Burlesque Top 50” Worldwide in 2020 & 2022 via 21 Century Burlesque Magazine. Zyra is the founder of Lee Vanity Productions (operating since 2016 ) - a burlesque and cabaret company focused on creating dynamic productions. Her production experience also includes being a collaborator for the 2018 Toronto Burlesque Festival and being on the adjudication team for several other festivals.
Velvet Pistol
Velvet Pistol is our House Manager. Making sure you get the best seat possible and that everyone's needs are met, Velvet's attention to details is what makes her unique. She's a multidisciplinary artist who creates during the day and gets "meowed" at by night…
Roxy Torpedo
Roxy Torpedo is our coordinating director. Her long experience working as projet manager for companies such as Cirque du Soleil, 4U2C and Van Grimde Corps Secrets, makes here the organisation guru. She's the head of our social media and makes sure everyone's always happy. Yay for HR!
